  • Coffee Parties

Do you like coffee, treats and socializing? Do you believe in the pro-life cause? Invite your friends to come over for a coffee, to your place or ours and a presentation given by The Back Porch! The coffee party lasts about 1-2 hours, and the presenter shares the message and ministry of The Back Porch. It’s a great way to socialize and to help share the important work we do!

  • Educational Presentations

Get equipped to share the pro-life message of hope.

Invite us to speak to your church, school or pro-life group about abortion or euthanasia. This is a great way to learn about how we can respond to life issues with truth and love.

Life House Worship & Prayer with Contend Canada

Click here to reserve your spot!

Psalm 104: 33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

Praise and worship is a powerful weapon against spiritual warfare. Let us gather and praise our Lord and call upon the Holy Spirit to hover over this place and bring life back. Let His kingdom come.

Scripture gives powerful examples of how God uses worship to advance His kingdom purposes and support His people. 2 Chronicles 20 and Acts 16 are among them. Praise the Lord!

"I'll See You Later" Movie Night

I'll See You Later is a documentary that tells the life altering stories of adoption, profoundly carried between families learning to embody love together. For those who have an adoption story, this film resonates with a heart-aching richness and reflects the beauty of self-giving love; stories that reveal the very best in each of us. Some stories of adoption do not say “goodbye,” but, “I’ll see you later.” Join us at Life House as we watch and discuss the film.

The Spectrum of Abortion Experiences

We invite you to join us Saturday, September 24th at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre from 1pm to 4pm to explore the spectrum of women's abortion experiences.

Abortion can affect women in all areas of their lives, including physically, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, and socially. ALIES' 2022 event will explore the possible effects of this choice and procedure through an afternoon of thought-provoking, informative, and non-judgmental speakers.

With our characteristic compassionate approach to life issues, we hope to increase the awareness in Alberta of the possible effects the decision to have an abortion can have on the women who undergo the procedure. Through talks from our speakers, The Sisters of Life, Registered Psychologist Amy Cardinal, and a medical professional yet to be decided, we will equip our attendees to approach the women in their lives who have had an abortion with care, understanding, and honesty.

If cost is prohibitive, please call 780-421-9941. We really want to see you there!

Coffee/tea and other light refreshments will be provided.
