October: Week 4
Our theme verse for The Year of Prayer is Matthew 18:19-20 (TPT), "Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you. For wherever two or three come together in honor of my name, I am right there with them!"
Let's unite through prayer, allowing our collective voices to be a sweet sound in our Lord's ear.
Our leading scripture for October is Psalm 68:5-6 (TPT), "To the fatherless he is a father. To the widow he is a champion friend. To the lonely he makes them part of a family. To the prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place! But for the rebels there is heartache and despair."
Our God is a compassionate, adoptive Father! He wants all people to be in relationship with Him, and in healthy community with others. We are all invited to live out this kingdom principle of adoption here on earth. Pray for adoption agencies and for biological parents who are unable to parent, to make the loving choice of adoption.
