July: Week 3
Our theme verse for The Year of Prayer is Matthew 18:19-20 (TPT), "Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you. For wherever two or three come together in honor of my name, I am right there with them!"
Let's unite through prayer, allowing our collective voices to be a sweet sound in our Lord's ear.
Our leading scripture for July is John 16:33 (TPT), "And everything I've taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world."
We can become discouraged when we think of all the ways that our government can disregard the sanctity of all human life, but we can place our hope in Jesus who has already overcome every adversary. Let us pray for overwhelming peace in local and federal politics.
