February: Week 1
Our theme verse for The Year of Prayer is Matthew 18:19-20 (TPT), "Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you. For wherever two or three come together in honor of my name, I am right there with them!"
Let's unite through prayer, allowing our collective voices to be a sweet sound in our Lord's ear.
Our leading scripture for February is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (TPT), "Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one's achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishily seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up." The love of God is perfect and it is beyond us, this is why we need to rely on Jesus to help us show his perfect love to all around us! Parents experiencing an unanticipated pregnancy can often feel unloved, lets pray that these women and men encounter the perfect love of God that casts out all fear.
