Leah Hallman - Executive Director
Leah Hallman was born and raised in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She began her studies at the University of Calgary in 2005, where she was introduced to a very active pro-live movement. A passion for pro-life work began to stir and she soon found herself immersed in opportunities to help others. She served on the executive of her Campus Pro-Life Club for several years, garnering experience in many different facets of pro-life ministry. She has been able to travel to various places throughout Canada and the United States, public speaking in this capacity and participating in different educational projects. In her spare time, she has also volunteered with underprivileged women and children. She feels blessed by the lessons she's been taught and the joy that she receives through this work, and is enjoying filling in as the temporary Executive Director at ALIES & the Back Porch.

Dr. Robert Hauptman, BMSc, MD - Director
Dr. Hauptman is actively involved in CME activities. He has given over 500 presentations to physicians and health care professionals throughout Canada on subjects ranging from asthma to COPD to chronic pain management. He also participates in student education in medicine, pharmacy and nursing.

Ken Nixon was born and raised in Calgary and moved to Edmonton in 1978. He worked as a carpenter in commercial construction and in 1980 was employed by the City of Edmonton.
